*Therapeutic Laser Therapy is a state-of-the-art treatment modality used for arthritis, wound healing, pain, swelling, and many other problems. We have had tremendous success with laser treatments and highly recommend them!
** This is a very exciting service we offer to our established patients! These are safely performed without anesthetizing your animal. Time To Shine is at our clinic three days each month to provide this service. Your pet will receive a thorough oral assessment of each tooth and the whole oral cavity prior to cleaning. Our technician provides you with a comprehensive report and reviews the findings with you afterward. We also offer various holistic protocols for your pet companions affected by cancer. Along with diet and nutrition, our doctors use combinations of homeopathy, Chinese and Western herbs, nutraceuticals and supplements to treat this invasive disease. If you have already chosen chemotherapy or radiation for your affected pet, our cancer protocols can help make them more comfortable during those treatments, boost their immune system, and help lessen or abate the effects of the disease.

Surgical Procedures
Elective procedures and dental cleanings are performed in a safe and nurturing environment. Our surgical patients routinely receive post-surgical acupuncture, post-surgical laser treatments, homeopathic pain management, and herbal formulas to assist the body in detoxifying from anesthesia. All surgery patients are held, monitored, and gently recovered in the arms of a caring staff member until they are safely on their feet.
Nutritional Recommendations
Good nutrition is the foundation on which optimal health is built. We recommend that our patients be fed fresh, whole raw foods in the form of high-quality meats, fruits and vegetables, supplemented with enzymes, probiotics, and vitamins as needed to ensure a balanced diet. In addition to several complete and ready-to-thaw raw diets, we have many recipes, and we carry most of the ingredients you will need to prepare a healthy diet for your pet.
Vaccinations
Vaccination schedules are designed for each patient. We give only single-dose vaccines whenever possible to avoid overwhelming the immune system. We support each vaccination with homeopathy in order to minimize side effects. We also recommend regular blood-titer testing to determine a patient's immunity to a particular disease, tather than automatically re-vaccinating.
Natural Flea Control
Natural flea control is another area of great concern for you and your pet. We offer a variety of options for your pet’s health and comfort—and your comfort as well! We carry a full line of natural shampoos and repellents in addition to non-toxic environmental treatments that are safer for your pets, your children, and our environment! Chemical treatments pose immediate risks, and tend to weaken the immune system of your pet, making them a more attractive target to fleas. Please consult with our knowledgeable staff and visit our retail area to see the variety of safe and effective alternatives to the popular pesticides on the market today. We do offer Comfortis and Compounded Lufenuron Capsules (prescription only).
