Surgical Procedures
Elective procedures and dental cleanings are performed in a safe and nurturing environment. Our surgical patients routinely receive post-surgical acupuncture, post-surgical laser treatments, homeopathic pain management, and herbal formulas to assist the body in detoxifying from anesthesia. All surgery patients are held, monitored, and gently recovered in the arms of a caring staff member until they are safely on their feet.
Nutritional Recommendations
Good nutrition is the foundation on which optimal health is built. We recommend that our patients be fed fresh, whole raw foods in the form of high-quality meats, fruits and vegetables, supplemented with enzymes, probiotics, and vitamins as needed to ensure a balanced diet. In addition to several complete and ready-to-thaw raw diets, we have many recipes, and we carry most of the ingredients you will need to prepare a healthy diet for your pet.
Vaccinations
Vaccination schedules are designed for each patient. We give only single-dose vaccines whenever possible to avoid overwhelming the immune system. We support each vaccination with homeopathy in order to minimize side effects. We also recommend regular blood-titer testing to determine a patient's immunity to a particular disease, tather than automatically re-vaccinating.
